Agnondas Agnondas

The Agnonta beach is 8 km from Hora, a pine-clad pebble beach with beautiful sunsets. There are tavernas and lodgings on the seafront.
It is named after the Olympic champion runner Agnonta, when in 569 BC he landed here after his victory in Olympia.

Stafylos Stafylos

Stafylos is the closest beach to Hora at only 4 km away. It is a lovely bay with a sandy beach and crystal clear waters; an organised beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, restaurants and lodgings. Do not omit to visit the famous cave of Stafylou.
The beach took its from the Prince Stafylo, whose grave was found on the small cape at the end of the beach containing his golden sword which on display in Athens Archaeological Museum. According to legend Prince Stafylos was the son of Dionysos and Ariadni and lived here about 1600 BC.

Velanio Velanio

Velanio is the continuation of Stafylos beach with a natural border made by a small cape. The beach has fine golden sand and crystal clear waters. The beach is organised with sunbeds and umbrellas. In the past Velanio was popular with nudists.

Amarandos Amarandos

After the beach of Stafylos and before the beach of Agnonta in Amarath, are some small creeks, most of them rocky and with pines that reach down to the sea and offer shade to bathers in the hot days of summer; an ideal choice for those wanting a quiet isolated beach. It is also recommended for fishing and diving.

Limnonari Limnonari

The small green bay of Limnonari is 9.5 km from Hora and close to Agnonta. A beautiful organised beach with fine white sand and has sunbeds and umbrellas and two seafront tavernas.
There are also the beaches of Glyfadas, Kanapitsas, Ammouditsas that are only accessible by boat from Agnonta.

Panormos Panormos

Panormos Beach is located 14 km from Hora and is very popular. It is a pebble beach with clear aquamarine waters and many small coves. From here one can see one the most beautiful sunsets. The organised beach has sunbeds and umbrellas and lined with tavernas, cafeterias, shops and lodgings.

Andrines Andrines

The legend says that it was named after a woman pirate that tried to conquer the island. Andrina’s pirates landed at Panormos, while she hid the boat in one of the coves and waited for their return. Her men were overcome by the islanders and when Andrina learned the bad news she fell into the sea and drowned. Andrines is located between Panormos and Milia with some small peaceful pebbled coves shaded by pines.

Milia Milia

Milia Beach is the largest on the island and is located close to the beaches of Panormos and Andrines. An organised beach with crystal clear waters offering sea sports, sunbeds and umbrellas. There are small coves at one end and the islet of Dasia.

Kastani Kastani

Kastani beach is 14 km from Hora and is beside Milia beach. It is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters and a splendid landscape. It is busy during the peak season of July - August.

Perivoliou Perivoliou

The beach of Perivoliou is 4 km from Glossa, the second harbour of Skopelos. It is an isolated beach with crystal clear waters ideal for those who prefer peace and quiet.
