Information About Ilia Beaches
Kourouta is located on the northwest section of Peloponnesus in the Ilia prefecture overlooking the Ionian Sea. Kourouta is a resort with many restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, organized beaches, open air cinema, hotels, camping facilities etc. It disposes a mini-market, a camping site and a supermarket approx 2.5km from there. At a distance of 1.5km there is a small port able to serve boats and yachts at the Palouki settlement where there are two more camping sites and plenty of fish tavernas.
A relatively small beach but certainly a very lively and popular destination in the prefecture of Ilia. Surrounded by various shops and hotels it welcomes all kind of visitors, locals and foreigners. There are straw umbrellas and a lifeguard while the rocks at the beach are ideal for fishing.
This is one of the most popular beaches of Ilia with plenty of hotels and other types of accommodation. Various activities and beach sports take place on the beach while the beach bars create a lively atmosphere.
Located approx 13km west of Pyrgos. This is a very cosmopolitan rocky beach that attracts more and more visitors that enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and the mountains.
