Apeiranthos or (Marmarino) as it called by the villagers, is 25km from Chora and is found in the centre of the foothills of Mountain Fanari. Apeiranthos combines its medieval architecture and faith with the tradition that distinguishes its residents. Apiranthos is a hilly village with no beach but you can visit the archaeological and folklore museums that are there.
The village of Antiparos (Kastro - Castle), the homonymous capital of the island, spreads out all around the imposing castle, offering an unparalleled view. The stone paved broad streets, the white washed alleys, the flower-decked houses and the spacious square with the eucalyptus, compose a beautiful setting.
Platis Gialos is a coastal settlement which is located on the southern coast of Mykonos. It is renowned for its tourist infrastructures as it offers a rich range of hotels and lodgings of all categories. Just 4.5 km from Hora, it has regular transport services by bus and boat with the popular beaches on the island. Naturally, the beach of Platis Gialos with its golden sand and spotless waters attracts many visitors. Closeby are the ruins of the three towers of the Hellenistic period in Lito.
Adamas, a seaside village with approximately one thousand inhabitants, is a tourist centre and port. Adamas offers you the utmost in comfort and pleasure for your holiday. Pyrgos is the largest village in Tinos after the Town. Most people distinguish it from the other villages of the island, perhaps not unjustly. Filled with marvellous creations based on marble that give a sense of nobility, artistry and the unquenchable thirst of man for inspiration.
About 2km from Korissia, we meet the valley of Mylopotamos. Those who love to walk can take the ancient paved street Korissia - Ioylida. Along the way there are 11 stone-built windmills.
